Making stormwater management social with SPEL Stormwater

Stormwater management is a niche industry with stiff competition between stormwater engineering firms. To help SPEL stand out, we came up with a social media strategy that showed off the company’s strongest asset—its people.

SPEL’s LinkedIn following grew as we posted more behind-the-scenes pictures of our staff hard work and having fun. We also featured individual stories that highlighted our staff’s passion for preventing stormwater pollution and their own connection to water.

I sourced potential stories from our maintenance staff and engineering teams, submitted story ideas for approval for the Marketing Director and CEO, and wrote the copy for our social media posts.
